The Big Tidy Up

Local residents from Westgate and Southgate gathered together to clear up rubbish from the banks the River Linnet Saturday 1st November 08. Local resident Martin Tilley and his wife Gwyneth were the main organisers with help from Councillors Chappell (Fornhams Ward) and Bradbury (Southgate) helped with Charles Bradbury organising the equipment from the Borough Council and children from the are coming to help. Over fifteen bags of rubbish were collected including two bicycles and corrugated sheets. It was all part of the The National Big Tidy Up Campaign
